Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Solution Architect to join our project team within the U.K. Public Sector. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial operations through the effective implementation and management of architectural solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, contribute to the improvement of financial efficiency, and support the overall mission of the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain architectural solutions for financial systems within the public sector.
Drive the adoption of best practices in architectural design and implementation.
- Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure to support financial applications.
Ensure the scalability, security, and availability of infrastructure components.
- Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with development, operations, and finance teams to bridge gaps and streamline processes.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing technical insights and recommendations.
- Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security best practices for infrastructure and applications.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial systems.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex, enterprise-level environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure, AWS, or Oracle cloud.
- Knowledge of SAN/SAN Switches
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
