Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction for major and high-value accounts, ensuring long-term growth and sustainability, with a focus on government and defence clients.
  • Oversee and mentor Account Managers, driving consistency in client management and embedding best practices across the team.
  • Manage the account team across consulting, talent, and operations functions to deliver account goals and exceed client expectations.
  • Develop and implement long-term account strategies to maximise client retention, growth, and satisfaction, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical client issues and complex negotiations, including contract renewals, service expansions, and pricing discussions.
  • Build and nurture C-level relationships with key clients to foster trust and identify opportunities for broader service offerings.
  • Drive business development efforts by identifying strategic opportunities within existing clients and supporting the team in developing new partnerships or service lines.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years in account management, client success, or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing large, strategic client relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and forming long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Experience in navigating complex client environments, particularly within government, defence, or similarly high-value sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including expertise in contract negotiations and account profitability analysis.
  • Experience in account management within the fields of data, digital, cloud, and AI.
  • Experience working within a consulting environment, with a strong understanding of client needs and delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing account management teams.
