Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Security Clearance - Active SC (NPVV3 clearable)
Location: London, UK Hybrid Office / WFH
We have immediate opportunities for DV Cleared DevOps Engineers to join our teams working within GOV UK projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within a secure environment to develop and enhance systems crucial to public sector operations.
- Exposure to Cloud Technologies, ensuring secure and efficient utilization.
- Implement professional software engineering best practices throughout the software development life cycle.
- Adhere to coding standards, conduct code reviews, manage source control, and contribute to build processes.
- Engage in testing and operational aspects to ensure the robustness and reliability of developed solutions.
- Demonstrate a proactive willingness to learn new technologies and languages.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience working in a secure environment, preferably within the public sector.
- Exposure to Cloud Technologies, with a focus on secure implementation.
- Proficiency in some of the following languages and technologies:
- C#
- PowerShell
- JavaScript
- Source Control Technologies (e.g., Azure DevOps, BitBucket, GitLab)
- Configuration Management tools and cloud automation
- Terraform
- Desired State Configuration
- Solid understanding of professional software engineering principles.
- Familiarity with best practices across the software development life cycle.
- Strong commitment to coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
- Experience with build processes, testing, and operations.
- Demonstrated ability and eagerness to learn new technologies and programming languages.
