Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Senior / Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. You’ll independently spearhead the development and enhancement of web applications while reviewing code and coordinating with software, DevOps, and test engineers. Your role will involve working on a predominantly JavaScript-driven tech stack and building secure, high-performance solutions that interface with modern backend services. We're looking for a proactive individual who is passionate about technology, open to continuous learning, and eager to embrace experimentation while delivering innovative results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Build, design, and maintain robust front-end applications leveraging a tech stack that primarily includes JavaScript, Node.js, and Nunjucks.
- Backend Integration: Interface with Java Spring Boot-backed microservices, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and backend services in a container-based architecture.
- NoSQL Expertise: Implement features that interact directly with NoSQL databases, with a preference for Amazon DocumentDB.
- Amazon AWS Services: Utilise supporting AWS services, including IAM, SQS, S3, Secrets Management, and KMS.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and QA engineers, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve processes and share knowledge.
Technical Skills:
- Proven expertise in JavaScript and Node.js with experience in Nunjucks templating preferred.
- Familiarity with interfacing front-end solutions with Java Spring Boot microservices.
- Experience in implementing features in NoSQL database environments, preferably Amazon DocumentDB.
- High-level understanding and practical experience with AWS services like IAM, SQS, S3, Secrets Management, and KMS.
- Optional exposure to Gov.CASA frontend implementation.
