Role Overview:


The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for configuring, developing, and managing Cloud Governance Processes on the ServiceNow platform. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders and product owners to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and technology standards.

Responsibilities:

Build technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on project and process requirements.

Have a good understanding of the overall architecture of ServiceNow.

Translate business requirements into functional design.

Propose API-based solutions focused on usability and automation.

Be an expert in working with Service Portal and custom applications.

Provide technical insights into ServiceNow capabilities and best practices.

Understand "as is" processes and deliver changes based on process updates.

Have experience in end-to-end development activities for enhancements or projects.

Collaborate closely with BAs, Architects, Platform & Testing teams.

Align to product roadmaps to ensure strategic alignment.

Identify areas of process improvement and tooling enhancements.

Skills & Requirements:

Experience with ServiceNow web services, APIs, and expertise in JavaScript.

Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, and Workflow Configuration.

Knowledge of web applications, networks, and email (SMTP, POP3), and experience with databases.

Experience in Angular JS, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.

Expertise in client and server-side scripting.

Familiarity with ServiceNow Integration Hub and Service Portal.

Experience developing complex widgets and pages.

Strong background in API development and reusable scripts.

Experience in developing custom scopes and applications.

Strong skills in reporting and version upgrades.
